Beast in the East 9

Beast in the East, known as BITE, returns for its ninth edition as Hampton Roads' largest gaming festival, running a full weekend of tournaments, free-play arcade cabinets, vendor booths, panels, and live performances at the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The festival blends fighting games with a well-known dance game scene, running titles like DDR, Pump It Up, and StepManiaX alongside its FGC lineup.

Street Fighter 6 Bracket

Street Fighter 6 runs as part of a fighting game lineup that in past years has included Tekken 8, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, and legacy titles such as Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Super Street Fighter II Turbo, alongside Tekken, Soulcalibur, and Virtua Fighter side brackets. Tournament brackets run through start.gg, with matches held on optimized PC setups across the convention center's exhibit space.

Registration and Venue

A weekend badge covering full tournament, arcade, and vendor access runs $85, with tournament registration handled separately through the event's start.gg page. The official hotel is the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Roads Convention Center, connected to the venue by a covered walkway. Attendees can fly into either Norfolk International Airport or Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport.
