Frosty Faustings XIX 2027

Entering its 19th year, Frosty Faustings XIX 2027 continues one of North America's established four-day celebrations of open-bracket fighting games. The event drew approximately 4,400 attendees in 2026 and returns with more than 30 featured main-game tournaments, alongside a substantial community-run program. With roots in the Guilty Gear scene and a broad anime fighting game lineup, Frosty Faustings brings legacy titles and current competitive releases together under one roof.

Street Fighter 6 is part of the main singles competition, with a separate 2v2 Waseda team tournament scheduled for Thursday. The published program does not list a Capcom Pro Tour designation for the SF6 brackets. General tournament rules specify double elimination, with most matches played best of three and winners, losers, and grand finals played best of five. Competitors register through start.gg and should check in for their pools before the scheduled start time.

Multi-Game Competition and Community Events

The main lineup includes Guilty Gear -Strive-, an Arc World Tour Platinum qualifier, as well as Tekken 8, 2XKO, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, and numerous other modern and classic fighters. Beyond the main brackets, Vortex Gallery hosts dozens of community tournaments. The four-day program also includes special exhibitions, team events, an arcade and casual play spaces, fighting game vendors and artists, a cosplay contest, and nightly karaoke. The venue operates around the clock for the event, giving competitors and spectators room to play and socialize between scheduled matches.
