About This Event
After building a grassroots following through more than 50 annual online tournaments and seasonal leaderboard series since 2025, Xtreme Fighters Showdown 2026 marks the organization's inaugural standalone offline event. The two-day gathering unites Street Fighter 6 with over a dozen other fighting game communities under one roof.
Operating outside the Capcom Pro Tour, the Street Fighter 6 schedule spans multiple formats. The main double-elimination bracket pairs a base pot bonus with entry fee contributions and Matcherino crowdfunding, paying the top three finishers on a 60/25/15 split or expanding to top eight at 64 entrants. Players can also enter a first-to-one, single-elimination One-Shot Showdown or challenge designated bosses in streamed first-to-five exhibition sets.
Lineup and Venue Activities
Tekken 8 leads the 3D roster as a Tekken World Tour 2026 Dojo stop alongside SOULCALIBUR VI, Dead or Alive 6: Last Round, and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage. Additional brackets feature Guilty Gear: Strive, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, 2XKO, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, Invincible VS, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Floor programming adds a Vendor Hub, Artist Exposition, 10 BYOC tournament slots, arcade play, bowling, karaoke, and a cosplay contest.
Registration and Logistics
Competitors must register in advance via start.gg. Onsite sales cover spectator passes only, while single-day passes apply exclusively to platform fighter singles. A strict bring-your-own-controller policy mandates wired connections and bans wireless devices. Attendees should also plan around heavy campus traffic and limited garage parking during Saturday's concurrent university football game.
