Astral Finish 2026

Astral Finish 2026 marks the fifth annual edition of western Mexico's premier fighting game major, expanding into a full three-day festival after drawing 296 attendees and 100 Street Fighter 6 entrants in 2025. Organized by grassroots collective AF GDL since launching in 2022, the tournament returns to its established home in Jalisco as a central gathering for Mexican and Latin American talent.

The Street Fighter 6 singles tournament anchors the weekend with a guaranteed pot bonus added to the entry fee pool. Double-elimination brackets award payouts across the top eight finishers when the bracket reaches 64 or more entrants, allocating 42 percent of the total prize pool to first place, 24 percent to second, and 14 percent to third.

Multi-Game Lineup and Community Programming

Ten additional main stage brackets run alongside the headliner, highlighted by an ARC World Tour 2026-2027 Gold qualifier for Guilty Gear: Strive. The main roster also includes Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, 2XKO, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Rivals of Aether II, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, and a mystery game bracket. Twelve community side tournaments feature legacy Capcom and arcade fighters such as Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, Vampire Savior, and Tekken 8. Outside the tournament pools, the floor hosts an artist and vendor alley alongside a Sunday cosplay contest.

Registration and Logistics

Competitors must register online via start.gg before the main bracket deadline on November 4. Entrants under 18 years of age are required to have a parent or legal guardian submit a signed authorization form on-site to claim prize payouts.
